I self-manage my own small rental portfolio, two time zones from where I live. The books, the deposits, the renewals, the Schedule E , all of it ran on spreadsheets for years, and the spreadsheets kept dropping things. A repair receipt here, an insurance renewal there. I built rents.ai to stop the dropping, and I still run my own properties on it every month.

Every guide on this site is written by me, about something I had to figure out the slow way. Nothing is ghostwritten by a marketing team, nothing is published that I haven't done myself or checked against the primary source, and where a question genuinely belongs to a CPA or a local attorney, the guide says so instead of pretending otherwise.
